ALL successful Hollywood movies follow the 2100+ stage Hero's Journey And Transformation Through A New World / State pattern.
We’ve examined the top 1000 movie lists, the Academy Award lists and the genre lists and not found an exception.
If you think you know the hero’s journey (99.999% of you don’t) and think you know of a successful hollywood movie that doesn’t follow the pattern, then please tell us. We’ll be happy to prove you wrong.
Even more specifically, just show us a successful movie where there is no journey, no transformation and no new world / state (there isn't one, as all MUST follow story law).
If you must try to prove us wrong, then please don't produce some obscure fifteenth century poem. Stick to successful films.
